Live in a remote area with few options? We are here to help!

Learning opportunities should never be dictated by locale, but must be predicated on a desire to learn.

If you are willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.
Zig Ziglar

The sentiment is nice, but it needs to be backed up by a workable solution which is obtainable. In places with unreliable internet reliability, and a lack of basic services and slim budgets, there must be a better way to engage with young minds and provide a compelling way to learn difficult, abstract concepts. Immersive learning allows this.

It isn’t enough to use VR for learning, but the solution must be capable of delivering a wide variety of content, offline. Nothing else will suffice.

We would suggest the following as a baseline, and then go from there:

Basic Expectations (content)

  • Interactive content (active vs passive learning)
  • Curriculum aligned (fits with my syllabus rather than the other way around)
  • Formative assessment inside the environment
  • Data and analytics (actionable data based on student performance)
  • Enough content for every age, level and grade (not one size fits all)

The Veative Solution

Our solution can be customized, but these are the components which are most important to the majority of schools, worldwide, that we deal with. Regardless of the situation, the solution must start with content and fill the needs of the learning objectives the school has set forth. But in remote areas, content alone is not quite enough. Delivery is important, and this is where we step it up. Read on.

Method of delivery

Understanding the challenge is the start. However, good solutions need a different approach. This is where we look to retrofit a van to act as a Mobile Lab, to bring the learning to where it needs to happen.

  • VR device capable of interactivity (comes with a controller for a variety of functions)
  • Large enough storage capacity to ensure you have the ability to use these devices in the way you want, now and in the future (ie. external content brought in, plus student and teacher-created content)
  • No router, no tablet, no mess, no fuss
  • Fully-equipped van designed to bring experiences and a world of opportunity to locations far and wide

Content (STEM)

  • The world’s largest library of interactive VR modules for STEM
  • Curriculum aligned (fits with my syllabus rather than the other way around)
  • Formative assessment inside the environment
  • Data and analytics (actionable data based on student performance)
  • Enough content for every age, level and grade (not one size fits all)

Hardware

  • 24 Veative EduPro VR (128 Gb of storage, for all of your VR needs) with controllers for interactivity
  • 1 Charge and Sync trolley for secure storage of your VR devices
