Home Module Conduction

The process of transfer of thermal energy from a region of higher temperature to one with a lower temperature, without transferring matter, is called conduction. Heat transfer between two points occurs only when there is a temperature difference between the two points. The rate at which conduction transfers thermal energy depends on the material. Silver, copper and aluminum are among the best thermal conductors.
