Oxygen Cycle



The atmosphere contains about 21% of oxygen. Living organisms take up the atmospheric oxygen through the process of respiration and breathe out carbon dioxide. Whereas the plants take in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and utilize it along with water to form sugar, in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll, through the process of photosynthesis.
